This LWVMC public issues forum brought together state, local, and community policy makers and leaders to focus attention and resources on the part of Milwaukee where data indicate the need is greatest.
Each panelist indicated their priorities for the North Side and described resources needed. Panelists were questioned by a moderator, by each other and by the audience.
Elected officials and foundations were invited to attend to learn ways they might effectively use their clout and resources to address issues raised. The public, including those affected by lead, were encouraged to attend and participate. Coffee was provided.
